Represented Marlborough, Wellington, Wairarapa Bush and Auckland in age grade rugby.

Played rugby in Britain in 1982.

Played and coached Dallas RFC, SMU. Coached Dallas Harlequins and Texas Select during the 1980’s. Also coached Portland RFC, Eastside RFC (Seattle) in the early 1990’s.

Inducted into Dallas RFC Hall of Fame in 2007.

Introduced to the Alliance Rugby Club through Gary Schragin.
